Quote follow-up automation

Quote follow-ups that go out on your schedule

Shadow Projects builds automatic quote follow-ups for general contractors and roofers. Quotes are followed up on the schedule you choose, so a quote never dies in your truck.

Estimate pipeline for a sample contractor: open estimates and their follow-ups

Who is it for?

General contractors and roofers who send quotes and don’t have time to chase every one.

How do automatic quote follow-ups work?

Follow-ups go out by email, text or both, on the schedule you set, and stop as soon as the client replies or the quote is marked won or lost. Your estimate pipeline shows every open quote and which follow-up it’s on.

How does it fit with the rest of your operation?

We can build quote follow-ups on their own, around the tools you already use, or into your platform, alongside your jobs, quotes, schedule and client updates. See the operations platform for contractors and contractor estimating software.

What do you own?

When the build is paid in full, ownership of the code, IP and data transfers to you. No license, no per-seat fees, no lock-in. For how a build is priced, see how pricing works.

Common questions

Can I choose when follow-ups go out?

Yes. Follow-ups go out on the schedule you choose, not a fixed one.

Do follow-ups go by text or email?

Your choice: email, text or both. Email has no extra cost. Texting runs through a texting service such as Twilio, which charges its own monthly and per-message fees, and texts only go to clients who’ve agreed to get them.

Do follow-ups stop when the client replies?

Yes. As soon as the client replies, their follow-ups stop, so nobody gets chased after they’ve answered. They also stop when you mark the quote won or lost.

Can I get quote follow-ups without a full platform?

Yes. We can build quote follow-ups on their own, around the tools you already use, or as part of a full operations platform.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what your operation needs, so there’s no one price. We can price the build as a project or work hourly, and there are no per-seat fees either way.

How long does a build take?

Simple tools can be working in about a week. Full platforms get a firm go-live date on the first call.
